Our Story

Association Euro-Méditerranéenne des Echanges, Volontariats, Evénements (Euro-Med Eve Belgique):

Euro-Med EVE Belgium is a non-governmental organization founded in Belgium, which works mainly with young people, youth workers, trainers and volunteers. We promote youth exchanges, mobility and intercultural learning at European and international levels.

 

Euro-Med EVE Belgium concept regarding different ways of LIVING OUR POSSIBILITIES increasing the value of diversity respecting of our personal ambitions. The NGO invests in the education, personal deployment of youth & professionals and pay attention to their voices, as an essential source of new ideas, creativity and artistic expression. Over national boundaries and stereotypes, the Belgian organization wants to promote interculturality, key value of the work. 

 

Euro-Med EVE Belgium is a non-governmental Association which deals with:

  • Educational activities: Education projects in schools and on an extra-schools basis throughout a non-formal education method focused on active citizenship, European conscience, against racism and xenophobia, human rights principles, training for teachers and trainers;

  • Vocational education training and education for teacher, trainers, and mentors in the field of child development education, health care services for disabled people, accounting, trade, art, and design, IT, natural protection and agriculture and etc.

  • Cultural events: Conferences, seminars, forums, concerts, art exhibitions;

  • Intercultural activities: Programmes and projects of youth mobility, education on international topics, promotion of different cultures in Belgium and abroad, promotion of ERASMUS+ Programme.

The mission of education activities, consist of providing non-formal education opportunities for young people involving as many youth as possible and trying always to involve others that have never participated before.

Hedi Challouf

Young professional with expertise in facilitation, training, and project management, with a background in sales and marketing from multinational companies.

Holds an M.A. in Advanced European and International Studies (CIFE, France) focused on the Mediterranean region, leading to a consultancy role in Brussels on EU-funded tenders. Since 2018, he has worked with ECORYS on EU-funded projects, including the Madad Fund, supporting children and families affected by the Syrian crisis.

With 12+ years in civil society and youth engagement, he is passionate about EU-MENA cooperation, particularly in youth and education through Erasmus+.

Magdalena Cymerys

Young professional with expertise in project management, community management, and communication. She has in-depth knowledge of EU legal, institutional, economic, and political frameworks and is fluent in English, French, Spanish, and Polish.

Currently a Blue Book trainee at EISMEA, she is gaining experience in EU innovation project management. Previously, she worked with Ashoka in Brussels as an EU migration policy advisor. She has coordinated internal and external projects across the USA, France, Mexico, Peru, Spain, Belgium, and Poland.

With experience in Erasmus+ projects, EU policy consulting, facilitation, teaching, and translation, she is passionate about advocacy, policymaking, and social entrepreneurship. She holds an M.A. in Interdisciplinary European Studies (College of Europe) and a Master’s in Development Economics of Latin America (Sorbonne Nouvelle).

Ana Beatriz Marçal Farinha

With a background in Translation from the University of Aveiro and a Master’s in Specialized Translation, I am passionate about intercultural cooperation and social development. My experience includes a traineeship at the European Court of Auditors and my current role at DG AGRI, European Commission.

Beyond my career, I have contributed to the European Solidarity Corps, Erasmus+ projects, and NGO initiatives focused on education, youth empowerment, and inclusion. Having traveled to 40 countries, I am committed to supporting minorities and disadvantaged communities through education and intercultural dialogue.

Ilija Prachkovski

Young professional with expertise in project management, coordination, and public relations. Ilija Prachkovski has experience organizing hands-on trainings and events in SMEs, as well as coordinating EU projects in a large consultancy firm.

He has moderated consortium meetings with diverse European stakeholders and produced digital content that makes policy information accessible to both experts and citizens.

Ilija holds an M.P.A. in Public Policy Analysis from Central European University and dual BAs in Political Science and International Studies from Macalester College.
